Blending sweetness with nostalgia
When Hayley Honeywell approached us to design her baby shower, she expressed her love for the sweetness of a honey theme paired with her favorite childhood character, Winnie the Pooh. Combining these two ideas felt like an exciting challenge, and we couldn’t wait to bring this whimsical concept to life. We started with a vision board that incorporated soft yellows, warm neutrals, and subtle pops of green to reflect Pooh’s beloved Hundred Acre Wood.
The design plan included an enchanting photo balloon backdrop, adorned with her favorite quote from the show, and a tablescape featuring honeycomb-inspired patterns and playful Pooh elements. To add a unique touch, we incorporated a painting activity where guests decorated building blocks as a keepsake for Hayley’s baby boy.
Creating a cozy and magical celebration
The pièce de résistance was the custom charcuterie board, artfully arranged with treats that tied into the honey and Pooh theme. Our goal was to create an event that felt personal, warm, and as sweet as the occasion itself.
The day of the shower was a flurry of excitement, and we were ready to transform Hayley’s home into a welcoming space that balanced charm and comfort. The photo backdrop became an instant hit, with its whimsical balloon arrangement and heartfelt details capturing the essence of the theme. The tablescape glowed with honey-themed accents, while the custom charcuterie board delighted guests with its thoughtful presentation. And the activity station brought a sense of togetherness, as friends and family painted blocks while sharing stories and laughter.
